Proventia NOxBUSTER™ is a fully customizable exhaust purification system based on SCR technology. Each system is designed according to the customer’s specific needs to fulfil local demands and directives.
The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology is based on injecting urea* to flue gases and is by far the most sophisticated and effective method for reducing nitrogen oxides. It is also possible to combine this with purification systems for not only NOx but also for CO, HC, and PM reductions.
Proventia NOxBUSTER™ can be installed on both existing vessels and newbuildings and is suitable for operation with HFO, MGO, MDO, natural gas and solid and liquid bio fuels. The NOxBUSTER™ can be tailored to fit even the most limited space and reduces not only harmful emissions but also noise - all without any impact on engine performance!
