John Ford, AMOT

John Ford is Vice-President of Sales and part of AMOT’s global leadership team, with specific responsibility for the marine market segment.

John’s early career was in practical engineering, building and commissioning process equipment. He moved to sales 25 years ago and has since worked in commercial and management roles for engineering companies. As well as AMOT, John has experience in precision electro-mechanical products and gas turbine components.

He recently led the development and market launch of the AMOT XTS-W Bearing Condition system for monitoring crank train bearings in 2-stroke slow speed engines.

John Ford is an Engineering Council registered Incorporated Engineer (I.Eng), a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (MIET), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management (MCMI) and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (MIOD).
