Beat Waelti leads Proventia's marine and stationary department .
He is a diesel emission control expert with over 15 years experience in building SCR systems on diesel engines.
After studying engineering at the university of Winterthur and a couple of years experience in gas turbine commissioning, Beat Waelti became responsible for diesel engine speed and load control at Sulzer Diesel. With plenty of know how collected, in reducing NOx with water and steam injection in gas turbines, Beat Waelti started using urea based SCR technology on diesel engines.
1996 Beat Waelti founded Proventia stationary. The company then was called ENWA.
In 2007 ENWA and Finnkat joined to Proventia.
