Correct and reliable connection of the indicator to the engine is a basic requirement for accurate measurement. This can only be achieved by using the right indicator valves between the engine and the indicator.
The indicator valves are available with two-part spring loaded spindles or alternatively with servo-operated spindles. Both types are equipped with a back seat. The valves can be opened and closed in all temperatures without using brute force.
Valve with a straight design and a flexible spindle
Indicator valve with a connection to the measuring indicator straight at the top of the valve. Several different threads are available for the engine connection e.g. 3/4”Wh, M20*1,5 , M20*2 , M20*2,5 , etc.
The valve has a small turning radius and is therefore suitable for use in the most restricted installation spaces. The valve opens against engine pressure and closes with engine pressure. Engine connection 3/4” WH (numerous adaptors available)
Valve with a 45° design and flexible spindle
Indicator valve with a connection to the measuring indicator in 45° angle. Several different threads are available for the engine connection as above.
Valve with a 90° design and flexible spindle
Indicator valve with a connection to the measuring indicator in 90° angle. Several different threads are available for the engine connection as above.
