PRESSURE TESTING AND SETTING OF FUEL INJECTORS AND SAFETY VALVES
VPUs provide quick and reliable testing of 2- / 4-stroke diesel engine fuel valves and safety valves with air-powered test rigs - no more need for hand pumps! VPU units verify main / auxiliary / emergency engine fuel injectors and safety valves prior to insertion in the engine, after a certain amount of running hours or after renovation.
The test rig can be used to:
Determine fuel injector opening pressure
Verify that all seals and o-rings are tight
Check that fuel injector nozzle is not leaking
Continuous opening for verification of nozzle spray pattern, etc
Fuel injector back leakage (how worn is the injector)
